The Ginger Chalet is a beautiful, stone A-Frame overlooking the Pond. With 1700 sq. ft. of open, spacious living area…it is sure to meet your needs! This home boasts a stone-faced, wood-burning fireplace in the lower-level sitting area which is open to the Kitchen and Dining Area. The upper-level sitting area opens onto the front deck, has a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests, a large flat-screen TV and a Foosball Table. Walk outside on the ground level to your own private fishing deck on the banks of the Pond.
There are three decks with an upstairs bedroom opening to a deck through French Doors overlooking the Pond. This bedroom includes a twin sleeper for the little ones. The second bedroom on the upper level is small with a bunk-bed [upper twin and lower full-size futon]. The third bedroom has a queen bed and is on the lower-level.
Located only 3 miles away is Conely Bottom a full service marina, with plenty of parking for your boat and trailer.
Monticello is only 10 minutes away with a super Walmart for shopping and several restaurants for your dinning pleasure.
For additional shopping and dinning, Somerset is just 25 Minutes away. For car buffs we have the summer nights cruise, every 4th Saturday, April through October. You will also find Somersplash waterpark as well as a operating drive in theater.
Lake Cumberland may be the big draw, but for those into hiking, Cumberland falls is about 45 minutes away with organized trails as well as the famous moon bow.
The scenery alone is worth the drive.
Only located 6 minutes away there is Mill Springs Gristmill, Historic Civil War park and gift shop. Across the street from Mill Springs is Dunacan’s store, good sandwiches
